John Holt

John Holt co-founded The Cobalt Group in 1995, based on his belief that the Internet would bring significant change to the way people advertised and bought and sold goods and services. Under Holt's guidance, Cobalt has become a major partner to the North American automotive industry, providing marketing services to more than half the auto dealers in North America and nearly thirty automobile manufacturers. Holt has helped Cobalt raise more than $100 million from some of the world's leading private equity firms, including Warburg Pincus, ABS Capital Partners, and Oak Investment Capital. He holds a master's degree from the Yale School of Organization and Management and a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College.

Joseph P. Landy

Joseph P. Landy is Co-President of Warburg Pincus LLC, where he has been engaged in all aspects of private equity investing since 1985. He is jointly responsible for the management of the firm, including the formulation of strategy, oversight of investment policy and decisions, leadership of the firm's executive management committee and the coordination of limited partner communications.

Since joining the firm, his principle areas of investment focus have been information technology, Internet applications and infrastructure, communications applications and structured investments. Notable investments in which Mr. Landy played an active role include: Avaya, Level One Communications, Nova Information Systems, Covad Communications, CN Biosciences, SynQuest and Neustar. A former President of the Venture Investors Association of New York, Mr. Landy is a Trustee of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute and of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center. He is a director of Avaya, Telcordia Technologies, The Cobalt Group and MicroVest, an investment fund focused on microfinance institutions in developing countries.

Mr. Landy holds a B.S. degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a frequent speaker at industry events concerning the many aspects of private equity and venture capital investing.

Ernest Pomerantz

Ernest H. Pomerantz is a Managing Director with StoneWater Capital, LLC. Prior to joining StoneWater Capital, he was Managing Director with Mesa Partners, LLC. He was a partner at Warburg, Pincus & Company for twenty-two years. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Lehman Bros.-Kuhn, Loeb & Co. Mr. Pomerantz is currently a Director of Alamo Orchards, Inc., ATX Group, Inc., The Cobalt Group, Inc., Fallbrook Technologies Inc., GEO2 Technologies Inc., Mobile Productivity, Inc., and an Advisory Director to the Hendrick Companies, LLC, and CustomerSat, Inc.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Pomerantz served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1969. His education includes a B.S. in Management Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Navy ROTC Scholarship, an M.A. in International Relations from USC/London School of Economics, and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Dave Power

Dave Power has spent almost 50 years as a pioneer in customer satisfaction work, with 40 years as founder of what has become one of the most prestigious marketing information companies in the world—J.D. Power and Associates. The company numbers among its clients virtually every automotive manufacturer and importer serving the U.S. market, in addition to clients in many other industries around the world. With corporate headquarters in Westlake Village, California, J.D. Power and Associates has domestic offices in Orange, California; Boulder, Colorado; Troy, Michigan; and Norwalk, Connecticut, and international offices in Beijing, Bangkok, London, Munich, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto.

Following graduation from College of the Holy Cross in 1953, Mr. Power served four years of line officer duty aboard a Coast Guard icebreaker in the Arctic and Antarctic. He subsequently earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Ford Motor Company as a financial analyst and later worked for Marplan as a marketing research consultant for General Motors Corporation's Buick and GMC truck and coach divisions. Prior to launching J.D. Power and Associates in 1968, Mr. Power worked as a marketing research executive for J.I. Case Company, a construction and farm equipment manufacturer, and was director of corporate planning for McCulloch Corporation, a Los Angeles-based engine manufacturer.

In 1992, Mr. Power was a recipient of the Automotive Hall of Fame's Distinguished Service Citation, awarded each year to seven of the industry's most accomplished leaders. He holds honorary doctorate degrees from College of the Holy Cross, California Lutheran University, California State University, Northridge and College Misericordia. He also serves as an adjunct professor of marketing at California State University, Northridge.

Justin Sadrian

Justin Sadrian is the Managing Director, Technology, Media and Telecommunications for Warburg Pincus, New York. Mr. Sadrian has been with Warburg Pincus since 2000. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at JP Morgan Securities in its Investment Banking Division and its Private Equity group. Mr. Sadrian is a director of The Cobalt Group, OnTargetJobs, Centrum.cz, MultiView Inc., Service Repair Solutions, Inc. and CAMP Systems International.

Howard A. Tullman

Howard A. Tullman serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Flashpoint Academy (www.flashpointacademy.com), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Experiencia, Inc. (www.experiencia-world.com), and President Emeritus of Kendall College, in Chicago. Mr. Tullman is General Managing Partner for the Chicago High Tech Investors, LLC and a Director of The Cobalt Group and Passage Events in Seattle. He is also a Trustee of WTTW in Chicago and an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.

Mr. Tullman has over 30 years of management and turn-around experience and an extensive operations background in online services, large-scale information assembly and delivery systems, database design and the development, creation and production of all types and formats of multimedia content including CD-ROMs and DVDs. He has designed and developed interactive interfaces, computer games and other electronic entertainment, training products and services, and other information-based products and services.

Tim Weglicki

Tim Weglicki joined ABS in 1993 as a founding partner. He serves as a board member of ABS portfolio companies American Public Education, Inc., Brandywine Senior Care, Inc., The Cobalt Group, Inc. and Workscape, Inc and is an observer to the board of NeuStar, Inc.

Before joining ABS, Tim spent 16 years with Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated, where he founded and headed the firm's Capital Markets Group from 1989 to 1993. While in this role, Tim had some 500 people reporting to him and responsibility for $300 million in revenues. Prior to that position, he led the firm's Equity and Investment Banking Divisions. He started his career at Alex Brown in 1977 as an investment banker in the firm's health care practice.

In addition to his board duties on behalf of ABS portfolio companies, he is a member of the board of directors of Coventry Health Care, Inc. (NYSE: CVH). He has previously served on the boards of US Healthcare, Inc. (now Aetna, Inc.; NYSE: AET), ElderTrust (NYSE: ETT), a real estate investment trust that invests primarily in assisted living and long-term care facilities, Meridian Health Corporation, a senior care provider that was acquired by Genesis Health Ventures, Inc. (NYSE: GHV). He is member of the Dean's Advisory Council of The Johns Hopkins University's Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, is a member of the Parent's Committee of Denison University and is a trustee of Garrison Forest School.
